Initial Assessment – Carried out prior to starting Apprenticeship to determine Numeracy, Literacy and level of competency
Training – On the job or day release to a college or training centre
Qualification – Set assessment criteria within a recognised subject specific qualification
On-Going Assessment – Carried out throughout the Apprenticeship programme by a qualified assessor
Numeracy / Literacy – Achieve Functional Skills qualifications (if required)
Employment Rights and Responsibilities – Apprentices are provided with information on their employment rights
Personal Learning and Thinking Skills – Soft skills an Apprentice must demonstrate throughout their Apprenticeship
20% off the job Training – Training to promote further development, to be carried out during contracted hours but away from daily tasks, this must be evidenced and total at least 20% of an Apprentices contracted hours. This element has come into force for Frameworks since the Levy was introduced
Completion – Certificate issued when all Framework criteria marked as achieved by the Assessor
