Waste Training & Consultancy Limited are an established CIWM (WAMITAB) Training & Assessment Centre based in North Yorkshire but delivering qualifications across the UK and Northern Ireland. We provide consultancy services, training, mentoring and assessment to the Waste Industry and have an approved CIWM (WAMITAB) assessment centre.

We provide a large range of Level 2, 3 and 4 CIWM (WAMITAB) RQF qualifications including diplomas/certificates in the management of hazardous, non- hazardous and inert landfill, hazardous and non-hazardous waste treatment and transfer operations, recycling operations, anaerobic digestion, waste electrical and electronic equipment recycling (WEEE), end of life vehicle recycling (ELV), facilities management, cleaning services, sustainability and resource management.

Waste Training & Consultancy Limited’s Director and Centre Coordinator has extensive waste management knowledge and experience and has been delivering CIWM (WAMITAB) training and assessment for over 14 years. The rest of the team including assessors and internal verifiers have many years of experience in operations before becoming assessors. This helps to ensure we are delivering top quality training and assessment.

Our delivery process is tailored to learner / client needs and take place at the learners place of work. Generally we have 1:1 or small group sessions with the learner(s). At these session training and mentoring is given as necessary to the learner and assessments are carried out on the learners completed units and by way of observation / professional discussions on site.

Once a learner has competed their RQF qualification, and all of the quality protocols have been completed, the learners will be issued with a recognised CIWM (WAMITAB) Operator Competence Certificate (OCC) or the Certificate of Technical Competence (CoTC).

Waste Training & Consultancy Limited operate a Waste and Environmental Consultancy covering tasks such as Waste Permit Applications, Environmental Management Systems, Site Working Plans and much more.  We have specialisms in the Anaerobic Digestion Industry and the Renewable Energy.
